Carnival to Resume Cruises From Three Ports In August

Forbes reported, Carnival Cruise Line said in a statement Monday that cruises on eight ships will resume in August from three ports in Texas and Florida—after suspending their business due to coronavirus—with all other North American and Australian operations paused through the end of August.

  • Beginning August 1, Carnival will cruise from ports in Galveston, Texas, as well as Florida’s Port Canaveral and Miami; the company stressed it is committed to safety, and as part of a “measured approach,” chose those ports because they are “easily accessible by car.”
